leather-guide
Our Lederhosen range uses genuine suede leather selected for durability, comfort, and natural character. Depending on the design and production batch, this may be goatskin suede or cow suede. When a product uses a confirmed specific hide, we state it on that product page. If a listing says genuine suede leather without naming the hide, please contact us before ordering if you require a particular leather type.
GOATSKIN SUEDE
Goatskin suede is soft, flexible, breathable, and comfortable for extended wear. It develops an individual character as it is worn.
COW SUEDE
Cow suede generally has a more substantial, structured feel and is valued for durability and a rugged traditional appearance.
NATURAL VARIATION
Genuine leather naturally varies in grain, colour, and finish. Small differences between pieces and product photography are normal characteristics of the material rather than defects.
CARE
Keep suede away from prolonged moisture and excessive heat. If it becomes wet, allow it to air dry naturally. Use a soft suede brush for light surface dirt and consult a professional leather cleaner for deeper cleaning.
